Hi, I’m Marihah.

As an Affected Other, I have firsthand experience of the impacts that gambling-related harm can have on loved ones. 

My professional background lies in the mental health field, where I have worked in therapeutic and coaching services. I completed my BSc in Clinical Psychology, gaining a deep understanding of individual differences. This was followed by my Master’s in Psychodynamic Counselling.

Throughout my career, I have worked in various sectors, including domestic abuse, mental health, eating disorders, addiction, and recovery. This diverse experience has allowed me to progress towards my goal of combating the social stigma surrounding seeking support and speaking out.

My aim is to instill in the community the belief that seeking support, advice, and prioritising mental well-being is not a sign of weakness, but a sign of strength and dedication.
